Gerfit is a workout tracker built with Claude Code. Describe a session in plain English and Claude drafts it from your own history, works around a sore shoulder or back, summarises whole gym visits and plans next week. Built June to October 2026.

Audit Agent is a web tool that helps an IT internal auditor work through an engagement: risk assessment, risk control matrix, control testing, issues and reports. Claude drafts each step, a second Claude call reviews it, and the auditor decides what changes and what is approved.

Audit Artefact Builder is a local tool that turns one Risk Control Matrix into the documents an audit needs: test programme, evidence request list, testing prompts and an auditee questionnaire. Control references agree across all of them, and nothing leaves the machine.

AVGO Thesis Monitor is a personal decision-support web app for one stock thesis. It keeps an evidence ledger, scores what is eligible before the next earnings date, and lets Claude propose new evidence from daily news for me to approve. It never trades and its score is illustrative, not advice.

DwellOS is a browser app that keeps one rental apartment's leases, costs, tax categories, documents, repairs and tradespeople in a single local file. It flags likely duplicate invoices, and an optional AI Intake step drafts records from a dropped invoice for me to check before anything is saved.

Freedom Dashboard is a retirement-planning dashboard I built with Claude Code and Codex. Change a balance, a rent or an assumption and its readiness checks, savings projection, rental tax model and drawdown scenarios recalculate at once. A demo mode on invented data cannot overwrite a real saved plan.

Home Server Bot is a Telegram bot that runs my home media library: it adds TV shows and films from a one-line message, reports what is playing and what is filling the disks, and uses Claude to search the library in plain English. It runs around the clock on a home server.

Ireland Open Data Analyst picks a live dataset from data.gov.ie, profiles it in code, then has Claude write a short plain-English briefing and a second Claude call fact-check every number. Charts are chosen by code, not by the AI. It publishes a static report site on a daily schedule.

Project Monitor is a local dashboard for projects built with Claude Code. It shows tasks, roadmap, tests and Git state, and checks the status each project declares against its commit history, flagging a task marked complete that no code change supports. It is read-only and runs on localhost.

Scam Shield is a phone-first web app that checks a suspicious message, link or photo, explains what makes it look convincing, and points you to a contact route taken from a signed directory of organisations. An AI model reads the message, but only plain code decides the risk level.

Shodan Analyst is a proof-of-concept tool for understanding internet exposure at aggregate level. You ask a question or enter a CVE identifier, it builds the search for Shodan's index, and Claude writes a plain-English summary of the counts. It is read-only and built around guardrails against target lists.

Tennis Score Bot keeps score of a tennis match so the players do not have to. A browser prototype tracks deuce, advantage, sets and tie-breaks and speaks the result. An Android rebuild is under way, with a deterministic rules engine and no AI model on the scoring path.

Travel Intelligence IQ turns an itinerary into a source-linked operating brief for a business trip. It brings flights, meetings, route buffers, weather, local conditions and warnings into one view, keeps useful sections available when a provider fails, and shows where each result came from.

Urban Atlas Studio turns OpenStreetMap data into print-ready city map posters: 26 themes, four layouts and three approved sizes, drawn as vector PDFs to the exact size a print-on-demand product needs. The engine is deterministic, and it refuses a size it cannot tie to a real product.

Viewing Tracker reads rental enquiry emails from a Gmail label, asks Claude to extract who is coming to an open house and when, and turns the results into a single dashboard with status, arrival times and a list of enquiries still to answer. It served one open house and is now paused.

VT Dashboard turns a visiting teacher's calendar, pupil records, due visits and mileage into one self-contained browser tool. It runs from a single HTML file on a locked-down laptop and keeps runtime AI out of sensitive casework.

Approach
I start by understanding the working day. Then I assess whether a tool is worth building at all, build around the systems you already use, and refine it with the people who use it.
